It's definitely necessary to get some time out from the constant pressure. We can't control what's going on, we can't affect it much, some loving self care is essential to not burn out. Please switch off every so often. Be kind to yourself.

Pretty hair raising though when you read about how it was shot, it's a miracle that no one got badly hurt. Couldn't get filmed nowadays except using green screen.

An added issue may also be that Dems went by a seniority principle when they assigned people to congressional committees. Experience: important but not the be all and end all. Not that this matters much until after the Midterms when control of the House will hopefully change. Maybe Senate.
