You’re right. The successful montgomery busses boycott lasted for 13 months. But when you tell people who are choosing to loudly participate in something that it won’t matter or is just performative acts in favor of our oppressors.
My point being that *sustained* boycotts take a lot of work and time to produce results; a bunch of Dems who are out of ideas and are putting off shopping for one day doesn't seem like an effective strategy to me.
Can somebody explain what the hell "buy nothing day" is supposed to accomplish?
