It is! I read it together with "Black Madness : Mad Blackness" by Therí A. Pickens. They both critically explore Blackness & disability (madness in particular) from different entry points. And using music/musicians (How to Go Mad) & speculative fiction by Black women (Black Madness..) is brilliant.
