You are likely going to have trouble writing as the news keeps rolling in. I have a free class for you about how to navigate wanting to write in the face of all of this bullshit.
Hey there... are you having a hard time writing right now? There's a lot of that right now. Weird, right?

So I'd like to offer you my Barriers to Writing class for free. This is about all the non-writing things that get between you and writing.

I'm writing a piece compiling some Cosy stories. Considering all variations on Cosy including manga, graphic novels, fantasy, mystery etc. Lmk if there's anything lesser known Cosy stories or sub genres you think I should check out!

This weekend I will mostly be reading ARCs and writing for @feministbookclub.bsky.social things I can control and contribute to, rather than other things that might be happening.

E-readers! Love them? Hate them? Never had one? I recently switched from a Kindle fire (👎🏻) to a kobo libra colour and I am hooked. Give me all the e-galleys, I have no more shelf space.

What is everyone reading this year so far? I'm currently reading Accountable by Dashka Slater and I just finished an e-galley of Mask of the Deer Woman by Laurie L Dove.

there’s an academic debate about whether Trump is a fascist, and a big sticking point was that he didn’t espouse any grand imperial ambitions. very kind of him to fully resolve that tension by talking about annexing half the western hemisphere.

Wait, you guys are managing it?
How is everyone managing their fascism related anxiety? I feel like I'm doing quite a bad job.
