Jared McCain has been assigned to the G League’s Delaware Blue Coats, the 76ers announced Thursday afternoon.
Sixers sending Jared McCain on a two-game stint in the G League
The second-year guard is still working his way fully back from knee and thumb surgeries. He'll play for the Delaware Blue Coats on Thursday and Sunday.

Nick Nurse said Dominick Barlow is “back.” Will be interesting to see what that potentially looks like in tomorrow’s game. Shooting still looked uncomfortable for him during his pregame warm-up Tuesday.

Sixers announce that Jared McCain has been assigned to the Delaware Blue Coats. Feels similar to when a baseball player gets a rehab assignment in Triple A. He can get more minutes in less-“important” game action as he works his way back. Blue Coats play tonight and Saturday at home.
