The tiniest praying mantis has taken up residence on Oscar, my Meyer Lemon tree. He's been here for a few days. When I take photos with my phone, his swaying follows the phone's swaying. I have named him Hank. He is precious.

Realized mid-walk that my dog wasn't carrying his plushie but had a detached squirrel leg + tail in his mouth and I freaked out. Bf reminded me Sam was lost for 4 days in the woods and probably ate carrion at some point to survive; he was fine then and prob would be fine now.

I'm always amused when MAGA tries to insult somebody by calling them a lib or woke. I'd rather be either of those than the racism/misogyny/ignorance/homophobia/xenophobia/ineptitude/incompetence associated with the current administration.
