Hey friends, popping back on for the first time in ages to share this—I accepted a kitten for private foster who, as it turns out, has a shattered leg (likely from being thrown from a car) and needs urgent surgery to repair it so she has a chance at keeping the leg!

home for christmas. using my mom’s ring light to do my morning skincare routine. face serum smells powerfully and inexplicably of stinkbug. I open multiple bottles to smell all my products individually. give up and conclude I’m on one. lean in close to ring light to apply mascara

firerug inkcaps are exceedingly cool mushrooms. they grow on a visible external mycelium that looks like an orange shag carpet and then dissolve into slimy black goo in about a day
