It sucks because I don't even want to get more specific about my anxiety lest it put people I love at risk. But I am REALLY looking forward to squeezing some friends this week. And even though I wouldn't want to live there anymore, that includes the city of New York 😂

I have been more head down lately just because a) busy and b) everything going on in the world has made my anxiety spike. I've tried to keep as much of my actual life off the Internet lately for safety. So. If you want to keep up with me, direct communication is your best bet.

I won't be on any panels or a particular place, but will be attending panels and meeting with creatives, so it's best to make a plan. Otherwise you might just see me in passing as I'm speeding my way through the crowds with the walking equivalent of road rage as the 1,000th person kicks my cane. 😅

Hot tip to my fellow cozy gamers, the Hello Kitty Island Adventure game is everything I could possibly want it to be and is now out on Switch and Steam. I think Jonas is sick of me exclaiming over the game while we bed rot with a shared cold. But y'all, I'M NOW FRIENDS WITH AGGRETSUKO

I focused on the things I could do and the things I HAD to do this week. That meant various work and volunteer tasks, cat caring, and small moves to protect me and mine. Plus only spending a max of 30 minutes a day engaging with the news and/or social media and buying a cozy game for distraction
