As you may have heard, a total lunar eclipse begins early Friday morning at 1:09 AM EDT/AST. Totality begins at 2:26 AM, lasts about 1 hr. A favorite time to view is when the Moon is half-in/half-out of the penumbra because the curvature of the Earth's shadow is very noticeable.

This storm is going to move slowly over Central America and could deliver 10-20+ inches of rain.
