I want to mark this day here. A year ago today I lost my mother, she was 90. The last three years of her life, I spent a lot of time with her going to doctor’s appointments or sitting with her in the hospital. She never lost her sense of humor, and I miss that more than anything today. Love you Mom.

I am at a loss over Grump making DEI the new bogeyman. The coded message is black, brown, female, lgbtq+, handicapped, etc. are less meritorious then white men. The effect is to elevate white male mediocrity and reverse the pursuit of a multiethnic democratic society. If this stands, we are doomed.
