After a morning run, Victor scarfs down breakfast across from Yuuri in the dining room, pointing towards the wall where a case of medals is now affixed. “Those are yours?” he asks between bites. “I got around to unpacking them the other day. My parents always liked to show off my awards, but they only had a few from my junior years, so I asked my mom if she wanted my senior medals. It’s nice to see a few more golds up there,” Yuuri admits. Without Phichit reminding him of his achievements, he probably would have left them gathering dust for a while longer, forgotten and ignored. Though it stings to see some medals specify that he was in the women’s division, it doesn’t upset him as much as it used to. The world now knows he’s a man and that dulls the ache.

Victor makes it to practice on his second day back. He staves off a lecture from Yakov by saying that he was with Sofia the day before and still got in a good workout off the ice. Strangely, it isn’t Yakov that he feels anxious about today, but everyone else. His rink mates cast glances his way as he warms up. The ones that came to the Final had little chance to chat with him on the trip home—his first class seat was well away from the rest of theirs—and he’s sure many of them have questions. They also have tact. The worst he gets is Yuri shoulder-checking him for skipping practice yesterday, which is normal enough that it makes Victor grin. Practice is blessedly normal and he finds his nerves slipping away as he gets back into the groove of practicing. Life’s going to be the same as usual until after Euros, aside from a lighter schedule and calls with Yuuri. So much of his time is spent on the ice or working out and getting married shouldn’t change any of that. Even Yakov acts completely normal, yelling at Victor for not following directions or for an ever-so-slightly sloppy spin.

While the rest of the world speculated, his parents had a first-row seat to his teenage years. It’s futile to deny his sexuality to the people who caught him sneaking back in at three in the morning and collecting far too many sports magazines. A straight boy wouldn’t have had to lie half as much and he was never a great liar.

As soon as the door is open, Makkachin bounces up to him with her tail wagging excitedly. “As long as you’re alright,” he says, breathing a sigh of relief. He sets his dinner on the table before stepping back outside with her, then takes photos of his car while she does her business. The photos and security footage from the camera at his front door will be sent to Sofia, who will handle whatever needs to be done with insurance, police, and fixing the car. He has too much to do in the next couple of weeks to be dealing with this himself.

Somehow, it’s harder to talk when she has to make the choice on her own. She needs to trust her friends and find the courage to come out as trans. Easier said than done. Defective Detective, a Detroit Become Human fic. 35583 words. Summary: He doesn’t realize he’s lost Connor until an android wearing the black and gold Stratford uniform runs past him. Everything happens almost too quickly for Hank’s eyes to keep up: The deviant with a gun, raising it and aiming right at Hank; and then Connor with a gun, shooting the deviant without mercy. Hank’s heart beats so fast it nearly escapes his chest. “Holy shit,” he says, turning to look wide-eyed at Connor, whose appearance damn near gives him a heart attack. CHAPTER 6 As soon as they enter their hotel room, Yuuri pushes Victor back against the door and kisses him roughly. He feels on edge after waiting so long: There was the free skate, then the medal ceremony, interviews, ice dance competition and ceremony, dinner, an hour at a bar with friends, and a ride back on the metro. I put some of this feedback into the form, but I also have questions. Some of these items seem straightforward, but from a practical standpoint, they're so vague bsky could extend the interpretation to prohibit huge amounts of content the same way itchio, fansly, and others are doing.
5.A.ii refers to CSAM as including "illustrated or animated" depictions. CSAM is a specific term referring to illegal content involving the actual exploitation of minors, or photorealistic depictions indistinguishable from real images. It's important to differentiate between real or perceived real images of abuse vs art to give the appropriate weight to actual crimes. I believe the wording should be made more clear that CSAM, photorealistic depictions that could be CSAM, and artistic sexualized depictions of minors are all prohibited, without including art under the definition of CSAM. 2.A/2.C.ii.a How does bsky draw the line between romanticizing/glorifying something vs presenting a nuanced depiction? From a moderation standpoint, drawing a line in a space with very gray area sounds hellish to manage. What do you do in cases where the viewer interpretation impacts the meaning? Do you ban anything questionable to satisfy demands from companies and governments seeking censorship, or do you aim for as much inclusivity as possible in defense of free speech and artistic expression? 2.A.i/C.ii.a Lots of video games and movies depict and glorify violence. It's a staple. You've got good guys running around with guns using violence to save the day. Magic and swords to hack and slash and hunt dragons and kill bad guys. In a lot of media, violence is THE way to win. I really don't think this can be enforced as written when it comes to fictional content unless you want to completely neuter the platform. 2.A.ii.b How does bsky identify something that interferes with others' recovery efforts? 5.a.ii.b Can you make this more specific? Is it as straightforward as written (no real or fictional depictions of sexual activity with real animals, and no verbal support for sexual activity with real animals)? Some people have an overly broad view of what counts, like "depictions of an anthro dog furry with a knotted cock support bestiality because of an anatomical similarity, even if it's neon" or "dragons and monsters would count as bestiality in-universe so if you depict that you're depicting bestiality, even if the creature is sentient." 6.A Can you make it more obvious how to find the contact email to report something through a method other than the in-app reporting function? Say, if someone shares my personal information and then blocks me, how am I supposed to report that when I am unable to use the in-app reporting feature due to being blocked? I had to dig for that a while ago and it was a pain to find, and then the email I contacted wasn't even the right one.
