So happy to see my Hollow Knight web app get so many visits. It's free and I don't make a dime from it. Made w nothing but love for the franchise & its charm system.
I'll probably implement a like system for it.

If you have some time, pls check it out :D

With #Silksong 's release on the horizon and a ton of people playing #hollowknight I think people could find some use for my Charm Build Maker web app.

It's free, and mobile friendly, so you can use it as a companion tool for trying out build comps.

W Hollow Knight's Silk Song on the horizon, I want to share this companion web app I made a few years ago.

One of my favorite personal projects to this day.

Try it out on chrome for mobile.

Amazing news!

After porting all classes, content files, and with the great help of one of #monogame
Staff, I was able to get my project back!

After using the app again I wanna add more shortcuts & fix some happy little bugs 😂😂

AI brain rot bros: "AI is the future! it'll replace developers!"

AI in LLMS:

Now imagine not knowing much about css, & getting this answer. You install some unnecessary dependencies just cause copilot said so.

AI stuff is pretty useful for a good amount of things, but let's not get carried away.

First of all, Merry Christmas everyone!

On another note, any graphic designer folks could tell me what this type of paper is? My friends deck looks so fancy, so I'd love to know what this finishing style is called.

if it proves to be too time consuming, I might give this a go from scratch using C and the raylib framework. I'll get the speed, and smaller size + far less bumps. Thanks a lot for the help man!

Here are what the WinUI3 version would look like img 1-2, compared to its current state, img 3-4.

This mostly does what I want up until I decide to add another element to the view list, and then decide to execute this. The result just becomes completely unpredictable, deleting things that weren't selected.

Marvel Rivals has taught me two things:

1.Groot is fucking ridiculous.
2.People don't put some respek on his name, and get washed.

From now on, I am super pro trees

Got this bad boy earlier today. Last time I changed keyboards was 7 years ago. My previous one is still in great shape, but I don't wanna have more wired devices, especially the ones that have annoying malfunctions. That KB's back lights turned off after typing a bit fast.

what's in the image.

I now have to by pass this by doing what I show on this picture.

I am not a fan of this. I think this takes away a bit from the good things that nesting has brought with it. Not sure if this will change, or if there's a reason why it's best to keep it this way.

this bit of css works like this:
className{
//the code on this pic
}

This is just for the css outside the custom element, and before I made into a custom element. once I made it one, and I decided to keep its styling encapsulated, this just doesn't work.

can't just replace the name and plug...

aaaand it's live!
I've added a good amount of accessibility features to this bad boy. This is now live, and enjoying my web components based buttons.

One thing I learned is that you can't nest :hover, :focus
within :host. It'll just won't work for the root component. Let me expalin:

I've updated my simple social media link sharing page, not yet public. Today's goal is to successfully make a Web Component out of that button template. Gonna be tweaking that little dialog thing that comes up when you hover over the copy to clipboard element.

For anyone out there already familiar with web components, I am trying to make this button into a web component, but I've been having a massive issue understanding a couple things about these:

I've been working on making my own Digimon World 3/2003 API. I've been getting all the info I need w Cheat Engine while using Duck station. It feels so satisfying to finally know the HP of almost all Digimons after more than 20 years of having played the game.
