Maybe I'm just naive or young or whatever, but I feel like managers should've responded to that OMB memo that they received it, the law is unclear, and until that is clarified all programs will continue as *prescribed by law* and that *Congress* controls the purse. No one should preemptively comply.

i think people who complain about the language police are, by and large, just cowards. say whatever you want! no one is going to stop you. but people may judge you or even, if you say the wrong thing in front of the wrong person, pop you in the mouth. but that’s life!
