I recently chided my husband for not saying boop in a high-pitched voice as he took off my dog's collar for the night. I sing unhinged songs all the time for everything, so this was more concerning for him. The dog isn't here for any of it.

My dog is an escape artist who manages to wriggle out of the back yard only to travel a few yards to hang out under the front porch. If we don't catch her and a delivery person shows up, they are terrified by the barking and scrabbling that comes from underneath their feet.

Y'all. I am in Iceland with a friend and it's such a great country. Yes it is beautiful, but I also appreciate how friendly everyone is, and almost everyone I have met tries to share a cool thing they like about the place where we are. Also, they sell soft serve at gas stations.
