So yeah I’ll be seeing a Japanese metal core band and my teenage daughters are heading to Lincoln Center for a violin concert. It’s like a Family Ties generation thing.

Telling people I’m gonna see Hanabie in two weeks or so and they ask what kind of band they are. I can only shrug and say Harajuku-core.
