It did for me. I only read Diver magazines as a child and diver manuals and then books about the sea and oceans and then all sort! Some years later it is an eclectic mix.

Do we know why England and Wales are white, which I assume means no data? Or is this just so low, it doesn’t register?

Is that quote from Silent Spring? I have never heard of Rachel Carson, and as a person interested in the sea and followed the likes of Jacque Cousteau from a very young age, lived on the coast, was into the environment, it surprised me. More reading to do! Thanks. @helenczerski.bsky.social
