Damn, like why even say anything about it unless they’re proud of the stance yknow. Despicable.

Anyways sorry for the long thread but this is generally the gist. I’ve tried a few different things in the past, if this goes well I’ll probably do a write up on the magazine I’m thinking.

So here’s just like a normal game tracker app (literally called game tracker 😂) and I track what day I played what game and write a sentence so that when I return I don’t feel lost. The time tracking, calendar, and progress meter are a bonus because I’m a statistics nerd haha.

The goal of the journal is to create reminders to jog my memory so that I can chase new games as the urges come and go and not feel like starting over. Nothing so over complicated so that it’s hard to keep up with journaling, just a sentence or two to make sure I can come back to a game comfortably.

Yea! So the reason is pretty simple. I get frequent bursts of short term hyperfixation, just about every day I crave a different game. I tend to bounce around and play many different games. By the time I return to certain games I hit new game because I’ve forgotten what is going on in my save file.

Jk it felt too weird to go back when I’m still only like a quarter way through Metaphor, but I’m doing my Royal run of Persona 5 someday eventually!

Morally correct answer is League of Legends, the games I played just cause the homies were online was atrocious
