I love Trails in the Sky so far but the bullying seems a bit over the top sometimes, and Estelle and Joshua are my sweet innocent angels but hearing them all pile on Olivier because he’s “weird”, he’s flirty, he’s a little out of touch. I Have to remind myself not every part has to age well.

A small annoyance as a big statistics guy using a steam deck:

I was playing some Trails in the Sky and my partner came home and we started hanging out so I just threw it in sleep mode and ended up not picking it up for the whole weekend. Steam now shows my time in game as 75 hours 🙄

I played Borderlands 1 back a few years ago and Charlotte nails the sentiment you get while exploring it, definitely worth a read especially if you’re still wondering if Borderlands 4 will still be able to hold your attention.

Hey personal posting is not normally my thing but im a bit proud of something I’ve had to do for myself. 100 days ago I decided that I didn’t trust myself not to make safe decisions while drinking and it’s been hard to quit, but the peace of mind gained has been worth the effort every day.

Gosh dangit Trails in the Sky making that first mine dungeon more approachable by having the player walk through it first then fight back out. I know exactly how long the segment is gonna be and I’m not overwhelmed I love this game.

They’re remaking this game. Why. This 2004 version has aged like wine. I mean probably because money but literally this looks like 2D HD remake good. And it’s the old version.

I’ve had Estelle and Joshua for 5 minutes and I’m never giving them back.
Picked this up on a recommendation and Trails already feels like it’s going to be one of those “wish I could experience it for the first time again” games, anyways I’ll see yall in 11 jrpgs from now.

Trying out a new journaling technique that could offer me a lot more piece of mind when I go to relax in my spare time. I’ve tried a few things but I lizard brain way too hard for any of the previous ideas. Really hopeful about this one though.

I thought I had the perfect Vita setup.

Full 120GB drive full of games on the jailbreak (totally recommend, the jailbreak rules)

Had a lot of games that were PS2 ports, but I just swapped them all out for AA JRPG’s cause you know what that was what the vita was all about and it’s time to celebrate

Gonna try to get through this before that new digimon comes out. PS Vita is absolutely undefeated (especially if you crack it open) and this newer generation of Digimon kicks ass. They had to grow up with their fans and it payed off big. Makes me wish more franchises did that.

Just finished Wildermyth: Monarchs Under the Mountain and this is approaching being my favorite RPG of all time. And having old characters cameo in basically like crossover stories is so good, it’s so good.

If anyone needs some tunes I have a 134 hour playlist of video game soundtracks with 150 different games. It took a long time to make but it was worth it, still add stuff as new games come out too, going through Clair Obscure rn which btw is incredible on the ears.

God, they should make V for Vendetta part of school teaching curriculum. Really good 4th of July watch this year in case anyone needs a recommendation.

This perfectly encompasses the epidemic we face as a species, if we create the wheelchair, who will remember how to walk?

Really great essay on collegiate AI use, please give this a read if you write.

I’ve been procrastinating Wildermyth. But it’s time to keep going.

I had a new character join my party, she fell in love, had her past finally catch up to her, contract a terminal illness with a cure she couldn’t steal from another.
And it’s hard to watch her die.

Heckin Wildermyth man.

Really good read, we have to appreciate the hand crafted stories as much as possible, especially now.

So much YouTube nowadays is all AI voiced and jeez probably AI edited, it detracts from the work and it’s sad to see so many people relying on a crutch like this to talk about their hobbies.

Damn I can’t wait to have Sonic Racing in my living room it looks so good 😩 very excellent preview by Kieron I’m at least triple as excited about this one now👌🏼
#MarioKartWorld isn't the only big-name kart racer on the 2025 calendar. #SonicRacingCrossWorlds is just around the corner. We went hands on with an early build to see how it's shaping up so far.
