25 years ago today, SCOTUS elected George W Bush president of the United States by blocking completion of a voting canvass in Florida. A subsequent canvass by the Associated Press showed that Bush's rival, Al Gore, had won the race in Florida—and thus the contest for the presidency—by 700 votes.

Now we know what “drug” Trump is really targeting. But are we ready to send our sons and daughters to die for it?

It isn’t “media hysteria”. That sound you hear is the weight of the entire scientific and medical establishment opposing your thoughtless vote after providing ZERO scientific evidence to support it.

You’ve just once again endangered the people of the US. That’s not hysteria, it’s a fact.

New in PN: A war criminal without a war

"We’re watching the flimsy justifications fall apart in real time. They can try to shift the blame. They can try to say that people clinging to wreckage for dear life are somehow an active threat. But in the end, it’s just murder."

Last week, ICE arrested and separated a father and son after a routine check-in. Six-year-old Yuanxin had just enrolled in the first grade at an elementary school in Astoria. Now he's in custody, alone. ICE won't say where. This cruelty serves no one. It must end.

The house and senate have both expressed interest in investigating the strike on survivors of the first boat strike.

Both Hegseth and adm Bradley will need to answer some questions.

This is why a reminder to not follow illegal orders is important

Trump says he will pardon former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández, who was charged, tried and convicted on drug trafficking charges, and who is currently serving a 45-year sentence in a US prison. Why? Probably because he gave Trump a taste of the action.
