It's hard to be optimistic—I was born and raised in the Twin Cities, lived in the same neighborhood where George Floyd was murdered, and now I'm watching these fascist threats surface all over again.

Minnesota has been a queer haven in the Midwest for a long time. They won't stop.

I keep telling myself I will get more involved in conversations and start commenting and supporting more. But then life happens.
