My mother was born in Nazi Germany. My father was born in Jim Crow Alabama. I was born in divided Germany, to unwed interracial parents, and undocumented because of racist laws in the US and in Germany.
We were also members of Peoples Temple

My prom date from 40 years ago and I got to spend the day together for the first time in 40 years and other than a few grey hairs, not a moment had passed.
