NG-2 will carry NASA's EscaPADE Mars mission, which will study the Martian magnetosphere. After launch the 2 probes will first loiter around the Sun-Earth L2 point for ~1 year where they'll wait for the next Mars transfer window. At Mars the pair will operate in highly elliptical orbits.

Last night Blue Origin successfully completed a static fire of their second New Glenn rocket! The rocket will return to the hangar where the payload fairing with NASA's EscaPADE probes will be mated. The rocket will then roll out again for a launch in Mid-November.
