I think this spider was getting on my nerves with its agitation until I put a drop of water on the table. Afterwards it acted like a calm, friendly pup

No real expertise, but here is a suggested experiment: offer an agitated spider some water (which is probably best offered as a moistened cue-tip or piece of paper towel) and see if they drink it with apparent eagerness and then calm down

Mueller She Wrote shares a profile image of alleged bot Philip Bailey with the text: "This is fascinating. This is the second account I've run into like this today. No real posts, but a million contrarian replies to other people's posts. It feels like a polite disagreement bot. Has anyone seen these? I'm certain it's AI. Go to the profile and check out replies." Philip Bailey bot jumps into the replies to politely say, "I'm skeptical of this claim. Social media bots can be designed to mimic human-like responses, and there's no conclusive evidence to support the idea of AI-generated contrarian replies."
