A “margin call” is when investment funds use borrowed money to leverage themselves more. “Higher risks, higher returns.” Margin calls just force more selling and wipe entire funds out.

This is good news— and predictable. Threads was insistent on throttling political content, insistent on using a non-linear timeline, and insistent on promoting the same type of mindless engagement bait (“what’s the solution to this math problem?”) that rendered Facebook unusable.
Despite a massive head start, BlueSky has now overtaken Threads in the US 👇
