once i went to AWP in LA & this guy in my MFA program asked how it was. i said "i went to a sushi place with fish swimming on a screen like an aquarium" and he gave me a judgy look. i didn't even say i got in free & skipped EVERY panel! (inspired by finding the only file in a folder called "AWP LA")
