Germany stands firmly by the OSCE, as the organisation is under real pressure. It needs reform - and it needs to reduce spending. A well-functioning #OSCE system is a clear gain for stability and crisis prevention across the whole Euro-Atlantic area, @aussenminister.diplo.de stressed today.

Dmytro #Shabanov was part of the OSCE mission that monitored the contact line in the Donbas until 2022. Under false pretenses, Russian forces detained him and two of his colleagues. More than three years on, they remain in captivity. We call for the release of all political prisoners.

The UN Security Council resolution for #Gaza must be quickly implemented. A capable #ISF is needed to ensure security in Gaza, as well as a Palestinian administration free from Hamas. @aussenminister.diplo.de discussed this with Tony Blair today.
