I've wanted to build Markdown and CSS editors for my FluentUI-Blazor based apps for a long time. I finally got around to it this week. Both editors are built on top of Monaco. The CSS editor is aware of the FluentUI-Blazor design tokens.

Spring youth soccer is upon us. I'm really looking forward to watching my son play this coming weekend. From 2023, my then 7 year old taking on four 10 year olds.

As part of the weekend clean up, I also found this picture of the VW Bus the LaBrea Stompers toured in for a while. I can't tell you how many long, hot or long, cold hours we spent touring in this van, but it was a lot!

Using #dotnetmaui, I was able to pretty quickly create a mobile app which meets my requirements. I've named the app Silvereye. For the moment, it only works on #android. I've got lots of styling work to do.

Took the kids skiing over the weekend and caught the sunset giving Three Fingered Jack a warm glow.

The 7v7 COED soccer team I captain, Stalking Horse won our league final last night 4-3. This is a huge achievement considering that we lost every game we played our first season just four years ago. Super proud of every one of the team - past and present.

I made chicken gyoza for dinner tonight. I added apples and celery to freshly ground chicken thighs in addition to garlic and ginger. I made a dipping sauce with freshly squeezed lime juice, rice vinegar and soy sauce with a little sugar. My nine year old who is a picky eater, loved them.

I took this photo seven years ago. It reminds me of nature's awesome ability to renew itself and gives me the courage to be resilient when things are not going well.

Making one of my favorite dishes... Lamb Tibs. Marinated the lamb for 48 hours in home-made 2013 Cabernet wine, onions, garlic and ginger. Sauce made with my own take on berbere. Slow cooking in a crockpot for 8 hours.
