OK, for #BirdoftheDay #reflections here's "our" heron on Lac Supérieur, Paris w/ a rather Dali-esque reflection due to waves. Lac Sup was 90% frozen but as usual he's near to the "drain" part, where the water runs out to join Lac Inférieur a short distance away. Samsung Galaxy A56 phone, cropped.

#birds - Does this count for #birdsontheground? A month ago we started early & found most of the Canada geese and swans of Lac Supérieur (West of Paris) standing in a line on the North-West shore. Usually they lie on the grass at various places round the perimeter. Samsung Galaxy A56, cropped.

Many swans in the background, they seem to like the place as do the Canada geese.
The building in the distance is Auteuil racecourse.

#addbirder At least 4 cormorants roosting in a tree. Lac Inférieur, just West of Paris in Bois de Boulogne. Never seen them do this, but what do I know?
The tree is at the tip of an island in the "lake". Hidden underneath is a sculpture of a beautiful man and a beautiful woman facing each other.
