It do! I articulated an orion drive, because I am insane. So the stewart platforms are both the suspension for the drive section, and they can bend to allow the ship to perform some...questionably aggressive maneuvers.

Those pistons are bigger than you are and the lack of atmosphere would get you long before the knuckles!
