My father, Harold A. Thomas Jr., was a beloved lawyer, professor, and leader among young men on college campuses—a natural teacher. He turned down invitations to join MENSA and an exclusive golf club; those weren't his style. Caring and integrity defined him. Do you remember him in St. Louis, MO?
Is this what you want your legacy to be, law firms? Pandering to this? Clients come and go but integrity is forever.

I love that Bluesky requires alt text before posting; it eliminates the excuse of forgetting. This feature has been a game-changer for me, especially since I struggle with memory issues due to ADHD and pregnancy.

Pro tip: if your senator's/congressperson's DC office doesn't answer or their mailbox is full, call their regional offices.

Most senators have six regional offices. Just google your senator and you'll find it on their website.

Keep calling until you get a person or can leave a message.

"‘Being There’ with Peter Sellers captivated audiences. Fifteen years later, Robert Zemeckis wondered, ‘What if I made a lesser version of this film?’ and thus, Forrest Gump was created."
Please recommend a perfect movie that will change my life. Horror, sci fi or thriller. No pressure

The prisoners have transformed into the guards they once feared.

Did you think of that by yourself, or did your mom help?

I prefer to drink water.
I don’t quite understand folks who put “multi fandom” in their bios. Don’t most people like a variety of things?

Many of these stores have donated to Republicans. The list of places to shop is shrinking. Let's reduce our spending, period! Don't replace things unless they're broken. If you don't need it, don't buy it! Keep your phone for a few more years. Watch your current TV for a bit longer.

I find it amusing that Pete Hegseth, seemingly unfit for even a 7-11's graveyard shift, is now leading the DoD simply for flattering Trump on TV. If the Democrats can't effectively challenge his appointment, they really shouldn't be in politics.
