And those are the only choices? So, by that logic, one should vote for someone who votes with you 10% of the time. Even 1% of the time.

Btw, you are quite obnoxiously condescending. Rampant inferiority complex, I expect.

Turns out it wasn't that hard to find Randy. Putting your stuff in your wife's name isn't much of a John LeCarré move.

He could do so much better with all the money he spent. I guess you can't buy good taste.

They gained support because the public blamed the GOP for the shutdown. Caving is an admission they were causing the shutdown, since they showed themselves willing and capable of ending it, for virtually nothing in return.

How do you know? You didn't try.

The real problem is our system allows Angus King, who represents about 3 dozen Mainers, and whose main achievement in life has been to get a large hairy white caterpillar to reside symbiotically under his nose, to make decisions for the rest of the US.

I always vote. I even held my nose and voted for Harris.

What I won't countenance is a supposed binary choice, forcing me to pick the lesser of two evils. I'll vote 3rd party, or write in, to let the Dems know mine was a vote they could have earned, but failed.

Of course she is.

You have one little cliché stuck in your mind, don't you? 'Perfect' vs. 'good'. A neat little binary.

People on ACA are paying the same massive increase they were going to pay before the shutdown. 95% evil and 100% evil are in this instance equal.

Now go vote for a kinder, gentler genocide.

Notable that two Senators from Nevada caved. Las Vegas probably depends economically on air-travel more than any city in the country.
November 10, 2025 at 12:22 PM
How's that working out for you?
November 10, 2025 at 12:17 PM
If the Dems didn't cause the shutdown, how come they were the party that ended it? It makes no sense.
November 10, 2025 at 12:17 PM
Vote for 95% evil over 100% evil!

Me, I have standards. To earn my vote, you have to meet those standards, not merely be incrementally better than the other guy.

They ended the shutdown. It must therefore have been their fault.

So the 'deal' getting SNAP benefits restored was meaningless. Day by day, it shrinks even more.
