Well… so yesterday I had back surgery. Sorta unexpected and not emergent but serious enough they got me in to operate in a week.

Good morning everyone!! I have been slow to transition of blue sky fully just because of groups and things I belong too on FB. However the news this AM that they will now allow use of mentally ill when referring to gay individuals as acceptable and not hate speech is a step to far.

Love to cook and bake.. this is one of my favs! Pistachio Pomegranate cake. It’s not a sweet cake so the royal icing really adds that little sweet you need, and then pop of tart freshness from the pomegranate seeds is amazing!
