Our first OpenLAND stakeholder meeting in full swing collecting great ideas and suggestions about interventions to improve UK land-use management for Net Zero, biodiversity, and food production. The next challenge is how we model all of this to explore 'optimum' land-use plans! @lunz-hub.bsky.social

We are in York with our fifth cohort to discuss how they're going to address Responsible Research & Innovation (RRI) during their PhD research. Some great presentations and questions with a very diverse range of topics.

Really pleased that our very first post on Bluesky is to highlight the success of our Cohort 1 student, Kristina.
Congratulations to PhD student Kirstina Wolf whose thesis on geoinformation science has been named the best in Europe by the EuroSDR Awards 2024 🎊

Kristina's work looks at how we can use geospatial information to support emergency management during disasters.
