Yesterday and today was not only about spotting frogs as but newts too. Water quality must be good as they seem to be thriving happily in our pond.

Enjoyed playing spot-the-frog this morning as they sat on the bottom of the pond. This is probably about 3 feet deep. I counted 8 frogs just sitting in the sunshine. Whether they were actually sunbathing or not I wouldn’t be able to tell. Such a a joy seeing them though.

I’m writing about how stories connect us to each other. Annoying thing is that my mind has gone blank when trying to think of any stories that prove that stories matter. I’ve got loads to say but I need the personal touch to demonstrate why I believe what I believe. Time for a walk then.

Celtic Knot tree.
On my walk today I ended up on one of my favourite mountain roads. A quiet narrow lane that is surrounded by ancient lichen encrusted thorn trees. They feel like they have been there since the Stone Age. Magical.

I’m so excited. Having real conversations with real people again. I know the potential that can come from that is awesome. It looks like my social will be a combination of Substack and BlueSky with smatterings of other places. Picture of rock heart pool on Isle of Man beach.
