Counsellor. Writer. Gamer. She/her.
Fan of fluffsome felines, freaky fables, and forgotten folklore.
I spend a lot of time with my neurodivergent clients describing the fight/flight response in relation to neurosparkly brains. Their reaction is usually, 'Oh, that explains so much.'
I often wonder why their psychiatrists haven't covered this following diagnosis.

Throwback to the time we sat our cats down and told them we were adopting a dog. I cannot stress enough that this is the ACTUAL picture from that conversation 🤣

Took Miss 16 with me to a car wash. I She'd never been before.
Her sheer delight was beautiful!
I love that at 16 she still has that.
There is something other-worldly about car washes, which is bizarre considering it's just brushes and soap, and yet I can remember the magic from my childhood too.

“Australian gothic with a good dose of cosmic horror… these stories are poignant reflections on broken relationships and the insurmountable distances between us.”

Wonderfully insightful (and generous) review of #TheMeasureOfSorrow

How to be a Writer: #3728:
Open laptop
Gaze bleakly into void
Become convinced that, not only is the void gazing back, but that it hates your WIP

Real talk.

We need 300 new subscribers (including renewals) to keep publishing issues at our current size. If we don't get hit that number we will need to scale back the magazine size.

Help us keep our size (or increase it!) over the next two weeks!

When I'm old I'll live in my house of books 'til the big bad wolf blows me away to the library in the sky.
