On a volunteer ride to VA, the second guy to get aboard had only one leg. He was 75, younger than me and he served aboard a destroyer in the Navy.
He was personable, friendly and we had a friendly conversation.
When I think about my occasional sore back, I will remember the guy with just one leg.
