Fantastic turnout for Remembrance today in Witney. Always lovely to see the town come together, especially in times when many seek to divide us.

Hate is taking hold across the world, and we owe it to the memories of those who fought off the scourge of fascism not to go back.

To the LGBT Labour National Committee, nothing is spookier than 👻𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆!👻

The unelected zombie committee can only shamble on for so long!

🎃 This Halloween, follow us and join LGBT+ Labour, to vote for change when the time comes! 🌹🏳️‍⚧️

Considering issues with the EHRC, the UK's likely breaches of the ECHR and other affronts to equality we currently face, I cannot consider a more appropriate lineup of MPs to join the committee.

This is fantastic news. Just as long as the
Minister starts listening to them!

Every action taken against Banksy seems to have a beautifully poetic and poignant way of biting the attacker in the arse.

"Your Party" is clearly not yours if you're trans.

Translation:

"Reform & Tory Councils are looking to spend hundreds of thousands in Council Tax despite not having a legal precedent to do so."

Whether you agree with the judgment or not, from any perspective, this is wasteful. Also hypocritical of them to waste Council Tax on "virtue signalling."

It's insane to me that the Telegraph decided that the Taliban being the first to show support for Farage's deportation plan is a good thing.

It is legitimately sad to see how quickly the Secretary worked to remove Abe from the committee group chat and from our website.

20 minutes. He hasn't given us the constitution after asking 140 days ago, and it took him 20 minutes to reduce one of our best members to "vacant."
July 22, 2025 at 5:21 PM
It's sad to see you go, Abe. But you're right, this isn't the Party we joined. As Membership Officer for LGBT Labour, you were one of the very few decent people on the committee.

Even if they didn't give you access to the membership list. 🤦‍♀️

Take it easy Comrade. Solidarity.

They're cowards. The repercussions of that have been devastating. They've allowed the government to remove our rights without challenge.

A friend of mine attempted suicide due to that. If they'd died, I would've wondered what more I could've done to get LGBT Labour to speak out.

LGBT Labour's record this year:

1. Removal of essential healthcare for trans youth.

2. The removal of 20 years of trans rights and undermining of trans people's identities.

3. The reintroduction of Section 28. This time for Trans People.

Just a random street on the day of London Pride hours after the parade finished.

Our power is in collaboration, collective action and organisation.

Says the organisation that has decided not to submit to the EHRC Consultation. Absolute hypocrisy.

I made a submission as Trans Officer for LGBT Labour, and I got the council I'm elected to to make a submission. Hell would have frozen over before the LGBT Labour National Committee did.

This Armed Forces Day, I'll be thinking of my great-grandmother, who served in the WRAF during WW2. My grandfather was always so proud of her for serving and me for having been in the Air Cadets.

I'll never forget the pride in his face as he was wheeled beside this parade.

On this day in 1912, one of the UK's greatest heroes was born. Alan Turing cut years off of the Second World War and invented the first re-programmable electro-mechanical computer.

Sadly, he committed suicide following forced castration in a society that didn't accept who he was.

Labour has ensured that trans people have as many rights in the UK as in Russia & Hungary.

This Government seeks to force trans people to live in their sex assigned at birth and has institutionalised that in party policy.

This Government isn't delivering for LGBT people.

Utterly tone deaf.
June 18, 2025 at 8:22 PM
I was in Parliament recently, ensuring MPs understand the magnitude of the ongoing removal of trans people's rights.

This Government cannot adhere to its commitment to a trans-inclusive ban on conversion therapy if trans people are forced to not live in their acquired gender.

Pride is a protest and it's about time to.

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🥳

This is the joint statement from myself as Trans Officer for LGBT Labour, @labour4transrights.bsky.social and @prideinlabour.bsky.social regarding the NEC paper leaked earlier today
May 19, 2025 at 6:51 PM
Under this Government, we have seen the steepest decline in LGBT rights in our Country's history.

We are now being outperformed by Estonia, where gay marriage has been legal for just over a year and join the lows of Russia and Hungary when it comes to Legal Gender Recognition.

People don't care about migration; they care about issues that the right blame on migration but aren't the fault of it. The cost of living, the economy, housing.

Just focus on the issues that matter. The right has no case if everyone is financially secure with a roof over their head.
May 12, 2025 at 9:21 AM
This is a consideration that every Trans person in the Labour Party is currently having to make.

The abandonment of trans people by our current leadership has been deeply harmful. They have caused a level of fear the trans community only expected under a Reform Government.

It's legitimately insulting to receive this letter from Barclays regarding West Oxfordshire Trans & Non-Binary Support, a company that I formed to support trans people in my area.

The reality is that a lot of the seats we lost to Reform had an increased progressive vote share due to us pandering to the right.

"We're moving in the right direction" is simply tone-deaf to the thousands of volunteers who heard the same things over and over on the doorstep.
May 3, 2025 at 11:31 AM
4 replied with a yes, and just 5 replied at all. Intentionally leaving out important context is a fundamental calling card of the right.

54 of them probably saw through this crap. Labour's LGBT MPs are legitimately some of the most decent representatives in the country aside from a select few. 🙄
