And yes, I’m drowning my anxiety in knitting. I’m lso being very careful to take stretch breaks because if I can’t knit I think I might collapse 🥴

Pattern: Eva Cardigan by #PetiteKnit
Yarn: La Bien Aimee
Color: Winterfell
Weight: DK
Time knitting: ~50 hrs but I’ve been inconsistent with tracking

🥴😅 I’ve asked myself that on more than one pattern size

Oh yea paying full price for a pattern and getting something wrong is the WORST. Made that mistake once and now I wait for the >$5 sales and just stock up

Maybe someone else will end up with a fancy handmade piece? (That’s what happened with mine)

Such a head smacking moment 🤦‍♀️

I let it sit in timeout for a while and now I’m just excited to see it finished 😅

Me looking at that previous post where I’m blissfully knitting away with the wrong needles 😃

I’m a bit worried about not having enough yarn to finish the placket… Worst case scenario I order another skein of the same or just have a different colored button band/placket/collar.

My road finally got plowed sometime in the evening/early morning

🥴 I’ve been disappointed so many times by the sizing on the printed patterns. But I HATE assembling and dealing with patterns printed on regular paper

Tbh I probably will

Seriously a masterpiece of a pattern

You know I was imagining it! 🤑

I was zoooooomin 🏎️ so I could wear it in this cold!

Such a cool pattern.

I picked knitting back up last year to cope with *everything* and it’s been the BEST decision! It’s rewarding and challenging and you end up with an article of clothing you made with your own hands!
January 26, 2026 at 11:43 AM
Wow!!!
January 25, 2026 at 1:07 PM
I’d be doing the same! And I can’t wait to see what it looks like knitted up!
January 25, 2026 at 12:13 PM
Oh that yarn and pattern look lovely!
January 25, 2026 at 12:03 PM
Thank you!

We’ll see if I regret my impatience and end up buying a short circular as well 😅 cause I’m sure it’ll be fiddly

And ty! I hoping for a nice lil snow day but the power stays on
