We have such an odd view of what's natural. We look out over miles of farmers' fields and see 'nature' when we're actually looking at an industrial landscape, as polluted and non-biodiverse as a trading estate.

I've just returned from wild camping in the Lake District - it's overrun with sheep and the hills and valleys are stripped bare. Nothing can survive except impenetrable blankets of bracken. I wonder what diversity could flourish if any other plant life existed.

We certainly agree. Hopefully, public & political questions will force more attention & action

£ for £ nothing else can compete, a unit of energy not used is always cheaper - than even a unit of green energy made. We should be scaling this up, not scaling it back. The treasury need to see that insulation is infrastructure, investment in the future. Warm Homes matter - and payback very quickly
