I’ve said I don’t want any of my work to be shared by the organisation I work for on Twitter (having not been able to convince them - yet - to come off it). It’s mad to be in that situation and it’s mad that it felt like a risk to even say it. It. Is. Mad.

I was at a conference on Weds about use of AI in public services and noticed how AI as sticky tape over broken systems is becoming the norm, designing or implementing better systems is becoming more and more of a luxury.

Thanks. I do appreciate your advice and wish I could act on it. At least Microsoft regularly offers the chance for my colleagues and I to bond over how shite all their products are, I guess.

Unfortunately I can’t act unilaterally when my entire organisation is arranged around the Microsoft suite. I’m hoping it won’t be impossible to switch off this shit when it starts 🙏🏻
