If Munich was the “wake up call”, then that stunning oval office meeting was, maybe, the smack in the face Europe needed

🇺🇦’s anthem blasting away on repeat at a demo outside The Russian Embassy in The Hague, marking 3 years since the illegal full-scale invasion began. Typically Dutch, and out of tune, street organs utilised to annoy the embassy staff. None visible

Wow, great optics assured: The outgoing popularly-elected president awarding independent journalists who faced police brutality VS. A president elected by one party awarding the very cops who beat those journalists
JUST IN: illegitimate PM Kobakhidze promises that the US and UK-sanctioned violent police officials will receive the Order of Honor after the sham inauguration of the illegitimate President Kavelashvili on December 29.

Even Fabrika, the iconic alternative co-working space and hostel has joined in. The blue sign says “The regime must release [imprisoned] protesters”. They then proceeded to march around the block, and past a Georgian Dream branch which they booed as a local party worker watched on from the window

Worrying. It’s beginning to look like Georgia 🇬🇪 is on the edge of a cliff this weekend. One dropping down to a dark and cold place totally unlike the warm and optimistic land I and other visitors had grown so fond of.

I hope this trend does not persist
"it's my child!!" Utterly horrendous scene in #Tbilisi tonight, mother screaming in distress as thuggish police rips her child away.

Hard to watch, but put sound on, watch, share & send to anyone who may still support GD to watch what horror they are inflicting.

🇰🇷 I don't see how South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol's martial declaration sticks. People will be out on the streets protesting (and they're very good at that!) — this is a place with enough citizens who remember the country's authoritarian era.
