at least with parliamentarianism if their is a failure to pass a budget, the govt collapses and the people get to choose a new govt!

i think i am over presidentialism, madisonian democracy, and separation of powers. what is the point of three branches of govt if one branch can literally not do its job, and the other two branches refuse to leverage any of their checks and balances!?

if the US is really a republic of 50 countries, then these "countries" should be given representation at the federal level based on their population. and then that body can elect a head of government and a head of state (or that could be single position!)
