Have you had a look at the Nature journal Crick and Watson published in? It was Nature 1953 issue 171. Also in that issue is Franklin and Gosling's paper, as well as a paper by Wilkins Stokes and Wilson. All involved had a paper on the topic.

I often ask people voicing strong opinions what they think the difference between their opinions, beliefs and knowledge is. It's amazing how they get tangled up when they try to explain themselves. I consider that a lack of logic hygiene.

I was surprised to hear Smith supporting taking climate change action. Smith's main concern is about grid stability and compatibility between generators and renewables. Implying he's against climate change is misleading.
