Orange County is so car brained they forgot what a town is

The reason these buildings look ugly isn't the overall style, it's that the ground floor looks like it faces an alley. The front door is small and off to one side, it looks like a back emergency exit. The ground floor windows look like it's abandoned. Here it is with 1 minute of editing:
