I took off the day after the election to go scream in the woods. And I was so valid for that.

I slept on my friends couch on Saturday and one of the cats must have chewed on my hair while I slept bc I found a suspiciously crunchy piece sticking out of my braid in the morning. Further research (laying on the couch awake) revealed Beef Himbo to be the culprit (he groomed me 🥹)

The ice got THICK
A stream with a thick slab of ice along the bank. The water level is lower than the ice that formed so the entire ice edge is visible, about 6 inches thick in this location. The center of the stream is actively flowing, and the steep hill rising above the stream is covered in a thin layer of snow and bare deciduous trees.

Crazy thing is I used permanent dark auburn dye earlier this year and yet the ends still faded to blonde after a few months. Now I'm using henna bc it smells better, is gentler, and doesn't stain my skin
