Matthew Lillard’s monologue in “Act 3” (the first act) is stellar, just a great piece of acting
Watching The Life of Chuck, and because it’s such a faithful adaptation by Mike Flanagan—almost uncannily so—it suffers from some of the same issues as the short story, but it’s still reminding me why I thought it the best contemporary King when the story first dropped a few years ago

I’ll never forgive our local Rich Asshole for stealing this story for his own use, presumably, judging by the reasoning used for other endeavors, under the guise of “protecting our history”. This story belongs to us all but instead I gotta think about fucking Check Into Cash whenever I hear it

My point here isn’t that it should be done, but that it’s okay to talk about it, and to write an entertainment article about it. The problem I think lies in publishing something widely that is more appropriate for the sort of inside baseball nerddom conversations that happen around the SK multiverse
I’m going crazy. I understand that it wouldn’t actually make sense to do this (tho you could without too much stretching), but why is everyone acting like these aren’t properties by the same writer?

Noticing a lot of people have no clue about the Stephen King multiverse and the fact that Ben Richards stops over in Derry in the movie, so while this is a click-baity headline, it is within the realm of sensible
