I take the simplistic view that if any or all(+) of the Murdoch rags, the Daily Mail, and the Telegraph hate something the government has done, then it is probably something good. And that counts double for a budget.

At the risk of sounding unsympathetic, if they're making extra payments, perhaps they don't need government subsidies to afford a serviceable car?
