But that ending really does threaten to upend everything that came before. A total 180 in terms of tone that left me confounded as to why they’d choose to end #28YearsLater at this specific point. Even so, I really did like this. Danny Boyle is back, babbyyy.

Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes are so good here. Alfie Williams is superb. I loved the music and general look of the film. There’s a lot of wild Boyle style thrown in here that’s both exciting & brain-rattling. Some real meaty themes to sink your teeth into. #28YearsLater

Really wish I was able to sit with my thoughts more before recording our review for #28YearsLater last night, because there’s a lot to chew on here. Loved a lot of it, flabbergasted by the last couple minutes. Overall liked it quite a bit, probably will grow on me over time.
