Guy covered his licence plate with a cloth grocery bag when I moved to take a picture of the back of the car. Guess he actually knew driving the wrong way down a big lane then parking isn’t allowed

Yes, the City did completely tear up the side of a road, build completely new active transportation infrastructure, and still decide to place a pole in the middle of two shared use paths.

The 103 Ave detour due to LRT construction will have protected bike lanes. I don’t know if they’ll be permanent but it’d be a pity to rip these up. #yegbike

Good turn out for the Cranksgiving ride, even as Autumn arrived with 0°C temps. The ride was in memory of Dr. Darren Markland and he rode in all weather. He’d have approved the riding with friends and helping the less fortunate at the same time

Two drivers of large vehicles collide at the entrance of an old, narrow bridge. No other drivers will be crossing the bridge for a while, I’m guessing.

Completely rebuilt road 1.5 years ago and curbs already need repair. Bike lanes closed: no warning, no detour, and the (by policy only) absolute last resort “dismount and walk” signs keeping people on bikes safe.

Sadly, I didn’t bring my @bromptonbicycle.bsky.social on vacation this time. I also have my hands full with extra in-laws from China. I did take one short video. They have some serious-looking bollards that are a bit flexible. Would @worldbollardassoc.bsky.social approve?

老婆 and I love going to Costco together. They even installed a bike rack a couple years ago. Even with the wide stalls, the parking lot sucks. Biking is so much better
