Mostly analogue / chemical photography. Returned to film in 2020. Cameras used are Konica, Argus, Lomo, and FED for the most part. There will probably be very little "great" photography here, as I enjoy stumbling along the learning curve.

After seeing the nice results @keithdevereux.bsky.social got from his Chaika II half frame camera, I thought I would get mine back out, and let my dog check it out. Maybe it will work better after he's had his fastidious little paw-paws on it.

My new knee is a little over six weeks old, & yesterday I gave it a workout. I met with a bird photography class at a local nature preserve & walked the trail for close to two hours. I took my Spotmatic loaded with Fuji 400 & a 205mm zoom. For now, here's a phone snap of the trail.

Still using a trekking pole to help me keep my balance, but otherwise, the new knee is coming along. There's still some pain 5 weeks in, but my range of motion is still increasing. I'm signed up for a bird photography session in ten days, and look forward to that.

It's one of the curiosities of my own mind as a film photographer that some of the clearest memories I have ever had come from photo walks when the film itself turned out blank. I remember all of those lost images, somehow.
